Eimear is a Chartered Educational Psychologist and Clinical Lead at NEUROConnect, with over 15 years experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults across educational, clinical, and community settings.
Starting her career as a Primary School Teacher after graduating from St. Patrick’s College in 2011, Eimear completed a Higher Diploma in Psychology at Dublin Business School in 2014 and went on to earn a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from University College Dublin in 2019.
Eimear has extensive experience in psychological assessment, intervention planning, and complex case management, delivering person-centred, evidence-based support to young people and their families. Collaboration is at the heart of her approach. Eimear works closely with parents, teachers, school teams, and multi-disciplinary professionals to create practical strategies that help young people reach their potential. Known for her warm communication style and her ability to bring different perspectives together, Eimear is committed to helping individuals build resilience, achieve their goals, and thrive in all areas of life.

Darina is a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in the assessment of children with a wide range of developmental, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural needs. She works in a Children’s Network Disability Team (CDNT), and brings this specialist knowledge to her practice with children and families.
Darina’s approach is clear, focused, compassionate, and child-centred. She is committed to providing thorough, evidence-based assessments that help parents better understand their child’s strengths and needs, while supporting access to appropriate educational and clinical supports.

Kady is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in supporting children, adolescents and adulst. She holds a degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Health Psychology, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Galway.
Kady has particular expertise in assessment and the provision of tailored support for children, adolescents, and adults with Autism and ADHD. Her approach combines thorough, evidence-based assessment with practical strategies that empower individuals and families to better understand themselves and navigate daily life with confidence.
She is committed to providing compassionate, personalised care that celebrates each person’s unique strengths while supporting them with the differences which they may face.

Clodagh is a Clinical Psychologist with a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from University College Dublin and a Master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh. She currently works within a Children’s Network Disability Team (CDNT), where she supports young people and their families through collaborative, person-centred care. Clodagh possesses particular expertise in autism assessments and is deeply committed to helping children and adolescents reach their full potential.
Clodagh strives to create meaningful, positive change in the lives of those she supports. Her approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a strong belief in the strengths and resilience of every young person. Clodagh works from a neuroaffirmative and child-centered approach always aiming to focus on a child and families strengths.

Katie is a Clinical Psychologist who is a graduate of the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme at University College Dublin. She currently works within a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT), where she provides holistic, strengths-based support to children and young people with complex needs, helping them and their families access tailored, neurodivergent-affirming care.
Katie’s areas of interest include assessment and intervention for neurodevelopmental presentations, intellectual disability, neuropsychology, and eating disorders. She is committed to using neuroaffirmative practices that honour and respect the diverse ways in which individuals experience the world, aiming to support children in reaching their fullest potential while embracing their unique neurological profiles.

Síle is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist, who began her studies in the University of Galway, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Síle continued her studies in the University of Sunderland, receiving a Master of Science in Psychology. She received a PhD in Clinical Medicine from Trinity College Dublin, following which she completed her Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in the University of Limerick.
Síle has a breadth of clinical experience working across the lifespan in a variety of settings including paediatric & adult primary care psychology services, disability and mental health services, neuro-rehabilitation outpatient services and forensic hospital services. In each of these settings she has helped many children, parents, families and adults come to a strengths-based understanding of their experience.

Niall is an Educational Psychologist with extensive experience supporting neurodiverse individuals across a variety of settings. He began his studies in psychology at the University of Galway, earning both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Psychology, and completed his professional training in Educational Psychology at University College Dublin.
Since completing his training, Niall has worked with the National Educational Psychology Service (NEPS) and within private multidisciplinary services. He has comprehensive experience using a wide range of psychological assessment tools and applies a strengths-based approach to support children, adolescents, and adults in achieving their potential.

Martina is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years’ experience working across a range of primary and secondary care services within the HSE.
Martina holds a degree in Psychology from NUI Maynooth, a Master’s in Applied Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from NUI Galway. She is also a chartered member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
Martina has extensive experience supporting both children and adults, with particular expertise in autism and ADHD. She takes a neuroaffirmative, strengths-based approach, and is passionate about promoting emotional wellbeing and ensuring that people have the supports they need to thrive in life.
She is committed to creating a safe, warm, and collaborative environment where those she works with feel understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Maria specialises in educational and autism assessments, bringing a wealth of expertise and a strengths-based approach to her work. Her professional interests include developmental and attachment-informed approaches, with a particular focus on parenting and the early foundations of emotional wellbeing.
In addition to her work with children, Maria has supported adults with intellectual disabilities and worked within primary care mental health services, where she contributed to the development of a service model that was subsequently implemented nationally across the HSE.

Yvonne O'Brien is a Senior Counselling Psychologist & Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. Yvonne has worked across a range of psychological and multidisciplinary CAMHS services within the HSE since 2008.
Yvonne is particularly passionate about supporting parents and young people with emotional regulation and behavioural challenges, Anxiety, Mood, and Self-Esteem/Confidence. She has extensive experience of working with children/adolescents in respect of supporting their emotional wellbeing, while also completing autism and cognitive/adaptive assessments.

Ciara is a Senior Clinical Psychologist who completed her clinical training at University College Dublin. She completed both an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology and a PhD in the area of family therapy at UCD also.
Ciara has comprehensive training in a variety of psychological assessment tools and interventions. She has worked in both primary care child and adult services and secondary care adult mental health services.

Maria is a qualified primary school teacher with a Master’s in Special Educational Needs and an MSc in Psychology from Dublin City University (DCU). She has extensive experience teaching across both mainstream and special education settings, supporting learners with diverse cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs.
Her professional interests lie in inclusive education, individual differences, and evidence-based psychological supports in schools. She has delivered tailored interventions, supported social and emotional learning, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes for all learners.
Maria is a Graduate Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) and is passionate about the intersection of psychology and education.

Maisie is an Assistant Psychologist on the NEUROConnect team and an aspiring Educational Psychologist, having recently secured a place on the Doctorate in Educational Psychology programme at University College Dublin.
Maisie brings a wealth of experience from a variety of educational and clinical settings, and has a strong passion for supporting children with complex needs.
Maisie’s work is deeply rooted in wellbeing, and she holds a particular research interest in educational neuroscience. She is committed to bridging the gap between research and practice, with the aim of improving real-world educational outcomes and helping to create inclusive, supportive environments where all children can thrive.

Charlotte is an Assistant Psychologist with a Master’s in Applied Psychology from Trinity College Dublin (TCD). She has extensive experience supporting children and adults with a range of psychological, emotional and neurodevelopmental needs across clinical and educational settings.
Her professional interests lie in child and adolescent clinical psychology, with a particular focus on how early life experiences shape psychological and emotional development and well-being in adulthood. She has delivered child-centred and play-based interventions that create a safe, supportive environment for children to express themselves and explore their emotions, helping to promote resilience, emotional growth, and positive developmental outcomes. She aims to promote psychological and emotional growth and is committed to further expanding her clinical experience as she works towards doctoral training in Clinical Psychology.

Clíodhna is an Assistant Psychologist at NEUROConnect and is an aspiring Clinical Psychologist.
Clíodhna has a background in education, with extensive experience supporting children with a range of complex needs and those who have experienced adverse life events. She has a strong interest in holistic child development and the impact of early life experiences on a child's ability to engage in different environments.
She is committed to exploring ways to enhance resilience and well-being in children in order to promote long term positive outcomes. Clíodhna has also worked within private multidisciplinary services as an Assistant Psychologist.

Anna is an Assistant Psychologist with four years experience supporting children and adolescents. She works closely with families to promote emotional wellbeing, sensory processing, and the needs of neurodiverse children.
Anna holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, along with a Professional Diploma in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Her training has equipped her to support families in achieving their goals through interventions for anxiety, sensory processing differences, selective mutism, and more, delivered both in person and online.
She has worked one-to-one with children and across multidisciplinary teams to provide targeted interventions, therapies, and assessments, with experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing sensitivities, and learning or intellectual differences.
In addition to her clinical work, Anna has engaged extensively in research, with particular interests in sensory processing sensitivities and amplifying parents’ voices in diagnostic and intervention services.

Ciara is our Occupational Therapist at NEUROConnect. Ciara is a CORU registered, Clinical Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist with the HSE, and member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI).
Ciara has exclusively worked with children and families over the past 17 years, providing a client and family-centered, neuroaffirmative approach to Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention.
Ciara has worked across all areas of paediatric care within the HSE; CDNT and CAMHS, and her specialist areas of interest are in child and adolescent emotional wellbeing and paediatric neurodisability. Known for her warmth, compassion and expertise,
Ciara is committed to helping young people build their independence and resilience, while supporting families to achieve their goals, towards thriving in all areas of life.

Laura is a CORU-registered Occupational Therapist. She qualified in 2014 in the UK, before working across a range of services including child development, mental health and intellectual disability services before returning home to Ireland in 2019.
Since returning to Ireland, she has continued to support children and young people with complex developmental needs across a range of public and private settings, including the HSE, and more recently, within a CDNT.
Laura focuses on helping children and young people with complex needs develop the skills they need for everyday life - whether that’s playing, learning, participating in school or becoming more independent at home or in their community. She works closely with families, schools and other professionals to create meaningful, practical strategies that help each young person reach their full potential.
Laura listens, collaborates and provides guidance that fits each family’s unique ways. Her practice is grounded in evidence-based methods to develop individualised, goal-oriented interventions.

Ciara is a Speech and Language Therapist at NEUROConnect. She has a particular interest in Gestalt Language Processing and Augmentative and Alternative Communication.
Ciara has several years experience in both formal and informal assessments, including administering standardised and play-based assessments. Ciara values a Total Communication Approach in her practice and is always open to learning new information for the benefit of those she works with and their families.
Ciara is CORU and IASLT registered, and she holds a degree in linguistics from University College Dublin, together with a Masters in Speech and Language Therapy (Professional Qualification) from the University of Limerick.

Lauren is a CORU-registered Speech and Language Therapist with a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy from the Ulster University. She currently works on a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT), where she has experience of supporting children with a wide range of communication needs in both assessment and intervention.
Her areas of interest include neurodiversity-affirming practice, Gestalt Language Processing and Total Communication. She values a collaborative, child-led approach and believes in creating a supportive environment for families.

Lorraine is a paediatric Speech and Language therapist with nearly a decade of experience supporting children and their families. Lorraine graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2016 and worked in the NHS before returning home to Ireland in 2020. She is currently working in the HSE, on a Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT).
Throughout her career, Lorraine has worked with children across all age ranges; from pre-school, to primary and secondary school aged. She has experience with a wide range of communication needs and she is trained in approaches, such as, Intensive interaction, Attention Autism and Colourful Semantics.
As an SLT and a parent, Lorraine understands many of the everyday challenges families face. Her approach is grounded in empowering and supporting parents to confidently help their young person thrive with communication and connection.

Deirdre is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) who graduated from University of Limerick with a Masters in Psychology and furthered her education by graduating from NUI Galway with a Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
Deirdre has experience in a range of clinical settings supporting children, adolescents and adults with developmental differences. Deirdre is currently working as a Behaviour Therapist on a Children's Disability Network Team.
Deirdre is passionate about providing support to neurodivergent young people and their families. Her work involves a deep understanding of the unique needs of each child and family unit, ensuring that support and interventions are both person-centred and tailored to the individual needs of the young person and their family.
